BedHead Product Guide… Top 10 Products…

Disclaimer: My blog posts contain affiliate links, this means that at no extra cost to you, I may receive commission on some products mentioned in my blog. I only mention products I genuinely support and love so you can be confident I am only recommending products that have been tried and tested by me or my clients.

So if your my client you will 100% know I literally LOVE BedHead. Having used it since I entered the hairdressing world as a fresh faced 14 year old, the smell of these products swift me right back to when I spent my days shampooing, making coffees and sweeping floors, started from the bottom now we’re here.. right?!
I have worked very hard over the years to build knowledge of the ever evolving products on the market but always retreat back to BedHead.. Here is my guide on my favourite TiGi BedHead products, I am affiliated with Amazon but regardless my opinions are from my own experience and recommendations. Enjoy!

Head Rush

The ultimate finishing shine mist, super light weight on the hair with minimum hold, this spray is like hair perfume, it smells AMAZING! Simply lean your head back after blowdrying and spray from arms length away.. beautiful..

After Party

This cream like serum is gorgeous for helping settle the hair after a blowdry, perfect for those little whispy bits that refuse to lie flat, one small pump rubbed through your hands and worked evenly through the hair, I love this product as its not heavy on the hair.

Small Talk

A pre blowdry cream for working with the hair while you dry, super light on the hair I love the way it takes away that ‘just washed’ feeling without being heavy or building up on the hair. Every time I apply this I wait for the ‘oh that smells amazing’ comment. Suitable for all hair types.

Manipulator

I mainly use this for my shorter hair clients, I love the creamy texture meaning its not too heavy and matte. Rub it through your hands like soap and spread evenly into the hair creating some texture into the layers.

Dry Shampoo

As a hairdresser I cant say I promote dry shampoo but sometimes its a needs must situation, I get your busy with kids, families, jobs and businesses so sometimes its not a day to wash and blowdry so dry shampoo can come in handy, this is by far the most polite one out there. Again light on the hair but giving it a fresher feeling for a day on the go. I personally use it when doing hair up as it gives a ‘grittier’ feeling which is perfect when you need a style to last all day and night.

Smoothing Stuff

A serum in the texture of a cream this has zero hold but keeps your hair so smooth and smelling delicious, use a tiny bit and work through blowdried hair for a super cute finish.

Note: Not just for blondes!

What Shampoo and Conditioner Should You Be Using?!

Within my kit I have all of the styling products and adore them, theyre all light weight and do exactly what they say without lingering about in the hair. Shampoo and conditioner are something I get asked about every single day and I can guarantee this brand has got something for everyone. The big 750ml bottles, twin pack are so affordable

Dumb Blonde

My absolute holy grail shampoo set. Designed and formulated for coloured hair, blonde, brown and everything in between. An equal balance of protein and moisture this has everything you need to keep your hair nourished and healthy on a daily basis. I use this myself and keeps my pink (otherwise it can fade within one wash) - the only down side to the conditioner is thats its VERY thick and almost impossible to get out of the bottle.

Little Tip: Dispense conditioner into a easy to access tub, this way it will stop you shaking it around mid shower trying to get it out.

Recharge

This combo is perfect for brunettes, cleansing dirt, products and grime from the hair you’ll be left with sleek shiny hair, couple this with a professional rich colour and the BedHead Head Rush shine spray and I can guarantee your hair will look and feel amazing!

Re-Energise

A lot of my post partum ladies use and love this! After having a baby especially whilst breast feeding the hair can feel dry, greasy and flat, using this as your every day shampoo and conditioner will help liven it up and add the gloss back.
Quick Tip: Shampoo like usual then leave the conditioner on as a treatment for around an hour then thoroughly rinse through.
