Wedding Season Is Upon Us...

Its the time of year where flowers are blooming, the sun is slowly starting to make an appearance and those invites keep rolling in. RSVPs await as brides plan tables, cakes and most importantly DRESSES… With a busy bride filled summer ahead we have put together some tips and tricks to keep you looking and feeling amazing no matter what occasion… Brides take note…

Here are some tips for your wedding day that you may find useful:

• Avoid using a moisturiser containing an SPF as it can cause ‘flashback’ or whitening of the face in your photos

• Make sure your foundation matches your skin tone and is the same colour as your neck and décolletage
• Set your makeup with a face powder to prevent shine, and blot any shine with powder before your photos too
• Use a little more blush than usual in a soft rose tone on the apple of the cheek, to brighten the complexion and give a pretty glow in your pictures
• Use your darker eyeshadow colours on the outer part of your eyes to make the eyes look bigger
• Use plenty of mascara to frame the eyes and use waterproof mascara & eyeliner in case of any happy tears!
• Carefully define your lips using a natural toned lip pencil for a neat finish
• Pick a lipstick in a neutral rosy shade. Don’t go for anything too pale as it can wash out the complexion.
• Urban Decay do a setting spray to hold your makeup in place- it’s great!
• Give a bridesmaid or friend a little touch up kit to carry for you, containing pressed powder, blusher, lip pencil and lipstick, a couple of cotton buds for any little smudges, some tissues and a little bottle of your chosen perfume.
